The program is aimed at identifying homes equipped with systems like battery walls, and solar panels, and electric vehicles.
The initiative is designed to enhance firefighting strategies and prioritize crew safety by gaining insights into the presence of such energy storage setups in Manteno residences.
This proactive approach ensures efficient response measures tailored to the unique challenges posed by these systems in the event of a fire.
This information will only be shared with Manteno Fire District and KanComm Dispatch so that should the worst happen, we can be informed en route to your emergency that you have a battery energy storage system in your home.
